Inside TurnOne Racing Print E-mail

As Stock Car racing has become more popular over the years it has become increasingly difficult for talented young drivers to rise to the top of the sport. Without the right connection or extremely deep pockets, the chances of a young driver making it to the higher levels of the sport are extremely slim to say the least- regardless of how talented they are . TurnOne Racing makes it possible for young drivers to compete in the NASCAR sanctioned Whelen All-American series using state-of-the-art cars, regardless of their personal financial position.  The drivers are hand-picked by Stacy Compton and brought on board with the objective of enabling them to excel in the Whelen All-American Series, and to gain the exposure and connections that they need to graduate to the next level of racing.

The TurnOne cars are built by Hedgecock Racing (chassis) and powered by Kowalsky Machines (Engines). We run the "big-spring" suspensions seen in NEXTEL Cup cars. The team is managed by Herb Bailey, a longtime engine-builder and racing associate of Stacy Compton.
